I'm never do this myself, but according to the web you do: "my_mod = reload(my_mod)", as per: How do I unload (reload) a Python module? - Stack Overflow --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu On Jul 2, 2015, at 5:14 PM, "Dougherty, Matthew T" <matthewd@bcm.edu> wrote:
How can I reload an extension when chimera is running?
At the present, after I modify python code I restart chimera for the s/w changes to take effect.
Is there a way through idle, etc, that I can cause user code modifications to load without restarting chimera?
