Comments from Jeff Blaney on the gcc 3.1 linux version. The msms problem is the same one that was fixed on the other platforms recently. At a quick glance, seems ok, except that it complains it can't load MSMS when I try to generate a surface. I like the low resolution view in the side window; I suggest you make it the default. I noticed there is a now a report of the RMS fit from a match command, but you should round the value to only 2 significant figures. I also noticed that the model box no longer shows the directory name leading to the model; I'd prefer to see the paths relative the directory from which chimera was launched. Jeff

Hi Jeff, Greg forwarded your comments on the new version to all the developers...
Finally had a chance to try it out.
I reduced the number of RMS digits reported to 3 after the decimal point. In the model panel, I _think_ most people will want it the way it is now, but I certainly understand your preference, and there are certain times when anyone might need it your way. So I added a column (which isn't configured into the table by default) named 'Input File' that shows the path relative to the starting directory (or the full path if the file isn' t in a subpath of the starting directory). You can use the 'Configure...' button to configure that column in and/or configure the 'Name' column out (the column configuration is remembered across sessions). --Eric
