Minimal value from their content. About their inclusion in the distro - I recall only using them from www.cgl.ucsf.edu and not the local copy included with the download. Most beneficial are the examples. If I recall correctly there are sections that are not complete or not in the table of contents in the examples part of the guide. In addition, parts of the examples section are pretty weak, e.g. molecular editing (which is very short and really describes molecular selection and display NOT editing). More documentation of how to modify coordinates, add / delete atoms, molecules, etc. would be very much appreciated as would more solid examples of, and caveats for C/C++ extensions. - David -- David A.
