Hi Stefan,
I improved the Chimera vop command (volume operation) so it can reverse the order of the z planes in a volume. It will be in tonight's nightly Chimera builds if they succeed:

The command to flip volume #0 would be:
vop #0 zflip
You could then save this map to a new file with volume dialog File / Save Map As... or the "volume" command.
