Hello Greg

Thank you for pointing me to the right direction. Silent installation worked fine after converting the .exe to msi.

All the best

Creating a MSI installer is a good idea, but we will not be doing it for Chimera.   I will add a ticket to explore switching ChimeraX's installer switch to a MSI installer.

The Chimera installer is generated using Inno Setup.  We haven't tried it, but  you should be able to generate a MSI installer yourself.  For example, see https://www.exemsi.com/inno-setup-and-msi/.  You might need to use the daily build of Chimera (version 1.18 prerelease) or newer to make the installation silent.  But it might not work due to the need to click on the license agreement.
