Which flavor of Linux are you using? For Windows, we have been building on RedHat Linux 7.1, which seems to create executables that run across a large variety of Linux distributions. Is there a similar platform for Linux PPC?
I was wondering if it would be possible for the developers to compile a binary version of chimer for use on linux ppc architecture seeing as it is not possible for a user to compile for themselves due to the
Hi Conrad, Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure I understand the question. I am running Ubuntu linux with the 2.6.12-10-powerpc kernel. Redhat make a PPC distro, as do SuSE, Debian and many others. Changing to RedHat wouldn't solve the problem however, which is that you offer 2 linux binaries. One for 32 bit x86 architecture and one for 64 bit architecture. For me to be able to run Chimera on my machine I would need a binary compiled for Mac PPC architecture (my processor is a G3). This would still be true if I were running RedHat on my Mac. Thanks, Alex
