It is unlikely that Chimera is doing this.  Please try using a different keyboard with your computer to check if that is the issue.  Or, perhaps you have a programmable mouse, and it's the software that supports that.   If you fix your problem, please let us know how you did it.   If you can't fix your problem, please use Chimera's Help / Report a Bug dialog to report it.
