Hi Prathvi, I don't know how good it would look, but there are options to adjust depth-cueing in the ChimeraX lighting command <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/lighting.html> ...that you could embed in the "perframe" command for gradual changes <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/perframe.html> It would require you to do some experimentation and reading about how to use perframe. Chimera has analogous commands, where depthcue control is in the "set" command. <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/current/docs/UsersGuide/midas/set.html> <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/current/docs/UsersGuide/midas/perframe.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Hi Elaine, Is there a way to change the depth cueing gradually using command line in either chimera or chimeraX? If possible, then it would be a great way to emphasize on a specific part of the protein while making a chimera movie.
