Hi Hai, I don't know what you mean by "click and drag in the list." Maybe you mean Ctrl-click to select the ribbon (which is one way of selecting the residue), but that should be same on Windows. If your computer does not show selection, you probably need to update the graphics driver. There are other ways to show a residue, for example command display :12.A to show residue 12 of chain A. <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/display.html> <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/frameatom_spec.html> Of course, Ctrl-click selection on the ribbon to show green outline and then menu: "Actions... Atoms/Bonds... show" should also work.
