In the Notes column for the Microsoft Windows platform on the Chimera download web page, it says: "Runs on Windows XP, Vista, and 7."  And for the 64-bit version, it only says: "Runs on Windows 7."  So any (32-bit) Microsoft Windows version of Chimera will work.  The most trouble free version should be the latest version, the 1.5.3 release candidate.

Hello,

I’ve not yet downloaded or used Chimera, but I am contemplating it.  I am looking for Windows System compatibility information for the various newer versions of Chimera. To me it wasn’t obvious on the Chimera home site.

I do not use Window’s 7 and I’m wondering which version might be most trouble-free for a Windows XP version with all service packs installed.

Thanks,
