Subject: Re: [Chimera-users] opening maps into an open session by clicking file in folderHi Dominique,_______________________________________________Are you using macOS Catalina? We have seen that a macOS update broke opening files by double clicking on the file icons in Finder. Unfortunately we have no funding to maintain Chimera so only critical fixes are made and I don't think this is going to count as critical. Our newer ChimeraX software opens the files correctly and all our effort is towards developing it with a 1.0 release coming next month.TomOn May 15, 2020, at 4:41 PM, Dominique Gutierrez <dgutierrez@gradcenter.cuny.edu> wrote:Hello,I used to be able to open a map from any folder by clicking the file into an open chimera session but now it either opens in a separate chimera session or not at all. Is there a way to fix that?Best,Dominique_______________________________________________
