Hi Sabuj, One more note about updating Chimera and plug-ins you have installed separately. Sometimes updating Chimera requires updating plugin code too. For instance, about half of the plugins on the Chimera experimental features web page had to be updated for Chimera version 1.2348 and later because they used the Numeric Python library and we replaced this with the NumPy library in 1.2348. So the old plugin code would not work with the newer Chimera. The versions of Chimera that a plugin works with are noted on the Experimental Features web page. http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/experimental/experimental.html So maintaining plug-ins while updating Chimera is just a pain, and I am looking for a way to improve this situation.
