Hello Tom, Yes, I am using macOS Catalina. Thanks for letting me know. I will use ChimeraX in future sessions. We have seen that a macOS update broke opening files by double clicking on the file icons in Finder. Unfortunately we have no funding to maintain Chimera so only critical fixes are made and I don't think this is going to count as critical. Our newer ChimeraX software opens the files correctly and all our effort is towards developing it with a 1.0 release coming next month. Is there a way to fix that?
