Hi Elaine, Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, it's much appreciated. Kind regards Tina On Fri, 22 Jul 2022, 17:03 Elaine Meng, <meng@cgl.ucsf.edu> wrote:
Hello Tina, Uniprot is a database of sequences. If you fetch from there, you will get a sequence, not a 3D structure.
However, if you mean that Uniprot fetch is not getting anything at all, this is because Uniprot changed how fetching is done. It is broken in the production release of Chimera (v1.16) but fixed in the Chimera daily build, available from the download page: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/download.html#daily>
Changes in Chimera after the last release: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/relnotes/snapshot.html>
I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Meng, Ph.D. UCSF Chimera(X) team Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of California, San Francisco

Hi there,
I have worked my way through the majority of the Chimera tutorials and thought I would try to Fetch ID of Human SP-B (P07988) from UNIProt but unlike the tutorials, it will not upload an image. Can you please help?
Many thanks
