Hi Stefan, This behavior is characteristic of a graphics driver problem, as discussed in a recent post: <http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimera-users/2018-June/014678.html> I don’t know if there is any interaction with Chimera version. Previous versions are still available for download if you want to try them (you can just give it a different name or put it in a different location to have multiple versions at once). I recently updated my Version from 1.12 to 1.13 and after successfully updating i was not able to pick up atoms with mouse 1 + ctrl combination (i checked it and it was still this combination). Also there were no more pop up balloons if i move the cursor over a atom. So the question is, was there something changed in the settings or something else or why doesnt it work anymore. I would be happy for helpful advices.
