Hi Snoze, That information isn't preserved from the PSF. I just now made some changes to preserve it so if you get tomorrow's daily build, the residue numbers should correspond to what's in the PSF. As an aside, the first trajectory format that Chimera supported was Amber, and Amber prmtop files don't have residue number information, so there was no provision for preserving it when other formats were added. --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu On Jun 8, 2010, at 1:51 PM, snoze pa wrote:
Dear Chimera Users, I have a simple query related to the residue numbers in chimera. If I will save pdb file in chimera then the residue numbers are not changing but if I will save a pdb file from DCD trajectory file then it set the first residue number to 1 and so on. How to save it to original PDB residue number, which is not starting from residue number 1. Thank you for your help.
