Dear Yangqi, It’s impossible to tell from such limited information because there are many factors and many movie-file options. All I can say is to review the information in the “making movies” page, <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/movies.html> … including “Problems in PowerPoint” (near the bottom). It also says "The graphics window should be adjusted to the desired dimensions before recording, for example with the command windowsize. Using a small and standard size (320 x 240, 640 x 480, or 800 x 600 pixels) may solve some playback problems. On certain platforms, other windows should not overlap the Chimera graphics window during recording…” with a link for more details. It’s also possible that the issue is with the player, if your software is old. Elaine ----- Elaine C. Dear Chimera developer, I tried to use the animation to make movies. However, after recoding the output movie could not be seen (Can play but nothing shown). I was wondering what could be the issue? Thank you, Yangqi
