Hi Murali, Besides the "vop subtract" command that Elaine mentioned you might be interested in the "morph map" capability to animation an interpolation between the two maps. http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/tutorials/volumetour/volumetour.html#morphma... This is good for seeing the differences in the two maps. There is a command (vop morph) and a dialog (Tools / Volume Data / Morph Map) for doing this. If your maps do not have the same normalization you can use the "minRMS true" option to vop subtract to scale one so that the root mean square difference is minimized. Tom
Dear Chimera users/developers, I have two EM density maps (in mrc format) of a complex with different conformations. I want to subtract one density from another. I am wondering if it is possible in Chimera to subtract the densities? Cheers, Murali
