Hi, Adrian. The easiest way is to use a text editor. Just concatenate the two files together and replace the "END" record from the first file with a "TER" record. Chimera should be able to open the combined file. If you want to do it from within Chimera, use the "combine" command (see http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/combine.html for details) and then use the File->Save PDB... menu to save the resulting model. Hi,
My name is Adrian. I am a graduate student at Bar Ilan University in Israel. I have 2 pdb files, each containing rRNA sequences and I would like to combine the 2 to make 1 pdb file displaying all of the rRNA subunits. I download the Chimera program. Is it possible to do this on your program and if so, can you please tell me how?
Thank you so much,
Adrian
