
a related suggestion would be some buttons on the file IO dialogs that would put the path directory at some fixed locations. Currently it comes up semi-random; i.e. chimera session file is located at /a/b/c , but file IO might come up /a/y/z, usually where the last session was located. Using a 'cd' command does not correct it. buttons IO path to 'cd' IO path to root IO path to what is saved as a user preference. IO path of last session, or scroll list of past sessions.
