Hi Victor, You can restore one session, and then in that same instance of Chimera, open the second session. It will ask if you want to close the existing structure(s) first -- just click No. More details on session merging: <http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/sessions.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Hi I prepared 2 separate figures of 2 different structures and saved them as independent sessions. Now I decided I would like to merge the 2 figures, showing the 2 structures side by side.
I tried the mcopy command, but since it's two different structures it didn't work.
I don't want to merge them as one PDB (combine command), I just want to reuse all the work it took me in assembling a "perfect figure" and "paste" it in another.
Hope my question makes sense. Thanks in advance Victor Alves
