Dear Smith, Chimera does not read or convert mtz files. There are several older posts to this list that suggest some other program such as CCP4 fft to create a map file from an mtz file, for example: <http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimera-users/2010-August/005470.html> <http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimera-users/2006-February/000700.html> You can search the Chimera-users mail archive for topics like "mtz" from here: <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/feedback.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ---------- Elaine C.
