Hi Matt, Perhaps this discussion of coordinate systems from last week will help http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimera-dev/2010/000722.html In combination with my comments about the camera always pointing in the -z direction in the Chimera global coordinate frame it gives a pretty good picture of the viewing geometry. Unfortunately we have not had the resources to describe Chimera from a programming perspective in much detail. Tom
I was trying to locate details on maxtrix, coordinate transformations& scenegraph, relative to camera transformations.
