Hi Krit, It really should work. When you hover the mouse over an atom, does a little text balloon pop up saying what the atom is? If you press the Control key while dragging the mouse with the left button held down, do you get a green rectangle drawn (with any atoms/bonds inside the rectangle selected)? Finally, if you go to the Mouse preferences (Favorites->Preferences and change "Category" in the resulting dialog to "Mouse") and change picking (icon that sort of looks like a plus sign) to the "1" button (instead of "Ctrl+1") can you select atoms by just clicking the left button (without holding Control down)? --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu
