Hi Stefano, There is an “independent” rotation mode in which each model uses its own center. You can use command “set independent” or menu: Tools… Movement… Rotation (it’s also a tab under the Side View), change “center of rotation method” to “independent". <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/set.html#independent> <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/sideview.html#rotation> I’ve often used this, for example, to make movies of side-by-side rotating structures. I hope this helps, Elaine ---------- Elaine C. Meng, Ph.D. UCSF Computer Graphics Lab (Chimera team) and Babbitt Lab Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of California, San Francisco

Hello, if I have more than one structure in the same session, is there a way to rotate all models together along their respective axes (for example their intrinsic y-axis) without having to do so after selecting each individual model from the model panel? Regards and thanks, Stefano Ciurli
