Hi Arthur, Registration has no effect on whether you can send email to chimera-users, they are completely independent. The response that the mail is held is only because you sent the message from a different e-mail address than the one you used when you subscribed to the chimera-users list. At least that is my best guess. In that case it will still go to the list after the moderator approves it, so just wait a little bit, and/or make sure to subscribe to the chimera-users list with your current address. It can be done by following the links from the “Contact Us” page: <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/feedback.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ---------- Elaine C. The first response to a message that I send to Chimera is one received from chimera-users-bounces@cgl.ucsf.edu In this response from Chimera there is a line in the text:
The reason it is being held: Post by non-member to a members-only list
If I am a registered user am I not a member? What is the definition of a member? Thank you Arthur G. Szabo Professor Emeritus
