The last version of ChimeraX that is certain to work with macOS 10.13 is 1.1.  Though it should run, some features may not work.  In particular, the web services infrastructure that ChimeraX uses has changed since then, so things like Blast and Modeller won't work.

You can access the 1.1 release by using the "Older Releases" link near the top of the ChimeraX download page.
