Hello Josh, A marker set is handled like an atomic model, so you can use the same methods of moving it. If you mean manually with the mouse, you can deactivate the other model(s) for motion by unchecking their “A”ctive checkboxes in the Model Panel (open this dialog from the Favorites menu). The checkboxes below the Command Line do the same thing. <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/mouse.html#activedef> Or, if you are using commands like move (to translate) and turn (to rotate), you can use their “models” keywords to specify just the marker set model. You can see its model number in the Model Panel. Is there a way to rotate marker sets? I have a 3D crystal system that is defined by a hexagonal coordinate system. I can load in a marker set in the form of a hexagon to act as the coordinate axes, but I need to then rotate the marker set to align it with my system. So far, I've only been able to see how to move one marker at a time, not the entire marker set.
