Hi CY, The Chimera Togl GNUmakefile http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/trac/chimera/browser/trunk/foreign/Togl/GNUmakefil... imports other makefiles (common.mk, foreign.mk) which are located in the chimera/mk directory http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/trac/chimera/browser/trunk/mk Those files set paths to libraries (like OpenGL). Mesa is not needed but OpenGL header files are required. The Chimera build system is complex and you'll have to poke around if you want to figure out how to compile the Chimera Togl library. Tom
I've been trying to compile Chimera's latest Togl against the most recent 8.6b2, and I'm not quite seeing how to go about it. A straight configure doesn't seem to find GL/gl.h... does it require use of the GNUmakefile in the toplevel? That file seems to need Mesa - can this version of Togl be built without it? Should I be pointing the configure to the unix dir or the macosx dir when doing the Aqua build?
Also, has anyone tried running the Togl gears demo with the NSOpenGL based version of Togl? Does it work?
