3d chimera viewing with nvidia vision and geforce 220

Dear chimera users I am having problems with getting the sequential stereo view on chimera 1.4.1 windows 32bit. The error i'm getting is: Unable to turn on stereo viewing Unable to find hardware stereo support (couldn't choose stereo pixel format Couldn't figure togl widget) I recently obtained a samsung 2233RZ monitor, 3d nvidia vision and using a nvidia geforce 220. My question is, whether the problem is because of using a geforce over a quadro? and whether there is a way to resolve this problem with a geforce card. Or is there another reason for the error message. Thank You William Tieu Department of Chemistry and Physics Adelaide University

Unfortunately, you'll need to upgrade your graphics card to a NVidia Quadro FX. The GeForce cards only support full screen sequential stereo and only with Direct3D not OpenGL (which chimera uses). - Greg On 08/12/2010 01:05 AM, William Tieu wrote:
