Is it possible to undo an action?

Hi, Is it possible to undo an action in Chimera? I notice that some actions in Chimera can be undid, such as "undo selection" or "undo move". Can every action be undid in Chimera? For example, I colored a selection zone in a different color. But I want to undo this action and recover each atom's previous color. Thank you very much! With best regards, Lesheng

Hi Lesheng, I'm sorry to report that there is no general-purpose undo action in Chimera. For example, if you delete atoms (with Actions..Atoms/Bonds..delete or the "delete" command), they are permanently gone and can only be "recovered" by reading the original structure file back into Chimera. My only suggestion here is that if you have put a lot of effort into getting a particular look for your structure, that you save a session so that you don't have to start from scratch if you make an error.
