Hi, We get a report of this type of behavior about once a year, so it would seem to have something to do with your machine/software since things work fine for 99.9% of users. We have never had it happen on any of our machines, and therefore have not been able to reproduce/fix it (if there is, indeed, anything that Chimera itself could do to fix it). From the description of the behavior, it seems like many or all of Chimera's menu entries are being activated without you doing anything yourself. This would both open many tool windows and also many web pages (showing Chimera help information).
