How to tile different models without tiling submodels

Hi, I want to use chimera to depict two conformation ensembles. Each conformation ensemble is a model, and each conformation in that ensemble is the submodel within that One of the possible way I've found to do that is to use tile command (tile #1-2.*). However, that command will consider each submodel (each molecule) instead of each model (each cluster) as a whole. So I am wondering if there is any solution or suggestion? Hi Qiancheng Xia, You can just use the "move" command to translate the whole models separately. I.e. if you have models #0 and #1 on top of each other, but already in the rotational orientation that you want, just move #0 to the left and #1 to the right. Example: open 1g1p open 1g1z move x -15 mod #0 move x 15 mod #1 Of course you could use different distances than 15 angstroms... whatever works in your case. See the "move" command help: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/move.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
