I installed Chimera on my linux machine, and there is an issue when I try to open a session (See attached img). It tells me that I need to update the graphics card, but my card is new and I would think is more than sufficient to run Chimera. Any suggestions? Thanks. - Jason -- Dr. Jason Mears Assistant Professor Department of Pharmacology 216-368-3348 jason.mears@case.edu <mears.jason@case.edu>

That error message means that there are conflicting OpenGL libraries on your Linux system. It typically occurs when you have installed the NVidia graphics drivers and forgot to reinstall them after updating your kernel. If you reinstall the NVidia driver, it should remove the conflicting library and chimera will no longer warn you about the misconfiguration. -- Greg On 11/15/2011 02:52 PM, Jason Mears wrote:
