Hi, Is there a way to display an axis line? I would like to display the rotation and translation axis as given in the reply log after a fit in map operation. Thanks Hernando

Hi Hernando, How about using the measure rotation command? For example, measure rotation #0 #1 color pink where #0 and #1 are the maps or molecules whose relative position you want to illustrate. It shows the axis in the specified color. You can also add the "showSlabs true" option to show rectangular slabs with edge meeting the axis which illustrate the angle of rotation. http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/measure.html#rotation Tom
