I found comfortable to deal with mdcrd compressed (gz) files directly in Amber's ptraj. This saves much disk space. I wonder whether this could be made available for Chimera. The scope would be twofold: other that saving disk space, shorted times of ssh transfer from the computing machine to the desktop with Chimera. Happy 2008! francesco pietra ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
