reset all models to the same center of rotation

Hi Chimera community, I have several models, both maps and pdbs, aligned. But the common center for rotation is far away from the model when I use "Volume Eraser". How can I reset the center for all models in command-line way? Thank you! Jianhao

Hi Jianhao, The command to change center of rotation is "cofr" -- the help page lists the choices: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/cofr.html> I don't know which of the choices will work the best in your situation, so you may want to try a few different things, e.g. cofr view cofr models cofr #2-4 ...where the last one is to use the collective center of models 2-4. Or, you could select a specific atom or set of atoms and use command: cofr sel I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
