Dear Chimera team, I have a problem with making a movie of morphed conformations in chimera (only for chimera 1.2548 installed on my laptop running XP). After doing the ³morph² when trying to record the movie I got the following error message: ³Error stopping/encoding movie: MidasError: Keyword and¹ does not match any known keywords² I don¹t understand the error message and what does it mean by ³keyword and²? I¹m not running a script. I don¹t have this problem with the Mac version of Chimera. The funny thing is that I was able to create a movie on the windows version a week ago. I¹m not sure if this problem has relation with XP and perhaps some new updates! Any idea how to solve this problem? many thanks for your great help. Ibrahim -- Ibrahim M. Hi Ibrahim, Maybe you specified a file name for the morph like "apo and bound.mov" and the underlying command Chimera is using is not quoting the file name so it looks like multiple command-line arguments. Worked correctly on Mac with current Chimera daily build. Let me know if that is the problem on Windows and I will fix the Chimera code. Also tell me which Chimera version. After doing the “morph” when trying to record the movie I got the following error message:
“Error stopping/encoding movie: MidasError: Keyword ‘and’ does not match any known keywords”
I don’t understand the error message and what does it mean by “keyword and”? I’m not running a script.

Hi Ibrahim, This problem was reported previously (View PR 6254 - gnatsweb) and is fixed in the current daily build (fixed about 12 days ago). You can get the daily build by going to the UCSF Chimera Home Page and following the "Daily Builds" link. --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu On Sep 24, 2008, at 9:42 AM, Ibrahim Moustafa wrote:
