Is there a convenient way to display the axes of the coordinate system (and preferably the origin)? Forgive me if this is addressed in the documentation, but I wasn't able to find it. Thanks, Jordan
Hi Jordan, Currently Chimera does not have a "show axes" function, but if you open the attached file in Chimera, it generates a model showing the axes X, Y, and Z with red, yellow, and blue arrows, respectively. This is in the BILD file format, in which it is pretty easy to change the colors, dimensions, etc. of the objects. BILD format description: http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/bild.html I hope this helps, Elaine On Apr 10, 2006, at 3:05 PM, Jordan Benjamin wrote:
