Dear Sir/Madam, I just wanted to know if there is any version of UCSF Chimera that can be run on Arm v8 based Single Board Computers like the Raspberry Pi 4 with 4 GB RAM. Thanks and Regards, S Roy Dr. Santanu Roy Department of Microbiology, Acharya Prafulla Chandra College, New Barrackpore, Kolkata - 700 131

Chimera does not run on ARM CPUs. It is only available for Windows, macOS and Linux on Intel CPUs. We don't have the resources to support other platforms. Chimera includes about 50 third-party libraries that would need to be available on ARM to allow it to work. The source code for Chimera is available https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/sourcecode.html <https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/sourcecode.html> but it would likely take weeks of work by someone experienced in porting to the Raspberry Pi environment to see if it is possible.
