Hi Elaine, when coloring a helix differently from the attached coils, is there a means to prevent the first short segment of the coil to get the color of the helix? It seems to me there was some kind of "halfbond"-mode one... Best, Xavier --

Hi Xavier, I see you also sent this to chimerax-users, and since I figured out it was a ChimeraX question I answered it there: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimerax-users/2022-November/004646.html> Best, Elaine

Yup, sorry for this, Elaine. I am apparently not included in the list of ChimeraX, so I switched to the Chimera list. On 29/11/22 18:26, Elaine Meng wrote:

Just to let everybody know: (A) you can send questions to chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu even if you are not on the list, you just have to wait for moderator to approve the message, which is usually one business day or less. (B) or you can sign up (subscribe) to the list if you want your messages to be sent instantly. Links to subscribe, etc. here: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/contact.html> Elaine
