Displaying chain trace without atoms

I have some structures in chain trace view, I hid them via the command line ~disp, but when I reshow them with disp, all the atoms are present. How to show chain trace while hiding the atoms?

Hi Ahmad, Chain trace = CA atoms. So after hiding all (command: ~disp) instead of displaying all (command: disp), show just the CA atoms (command: disp @ca). I recommend looking at the “getting started: commands" tutorial to become more familiar with common display actions, and the “atom spec” page on how to specify certain atoms, residues, etc. in the command line: <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/tutorials/getting_started.html> <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/frameatom_spec.html> Elaine
