Is there a way to undo a recent erasing that I did? Also, are there ways to use custom shapes, or other surfaces to erase density?
Hi Ahmad, If you click Help on the Volume Eraser tool it will show this page. <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/ContributedSoftware/voleraser/voleraser.html> It mentions that the original volume is kept but hidden, so you can still get back the original. However, there is no undo of just your most recent erasing, you would just have to start over. There are no custom shapes for moving around in the Volume Eraser tool, but with the "mask" command I mentioned yesterday, you could mask with any shape surface including a surface created with the "shape" command. <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/mask.html> <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/shape.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
