path to an object displayed in a chimera session

Hello, how can one find out the path to an object displayed in a chimera session ? Best wishes Jean-Francois

Hi Jean-Francois, Not sure I understand, but if by path you mean the history of how you created the object, it is not stored in the session. If you used commands, however, there is a the Command History (use black triangle on the right side of the command line to show recent commands, command history is the bottom choice). <http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/history.html> Unfortunately there is no history of what menus or GUI settings were used. If you mean the file path, then you can bring up the Model Panel and click on its "Configure" button. In the configure dialog, use the "Columns" tab to enable the "Input file" column, which will show the file used to open each model (if there was one). --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu On Sep 9, 2011, at 4:10 AM, Jean-Francois Menetret wrote:
