Dear all, Is it possible with the Morph Map tool to set the contour levels of the two maps differently? For e.g. if I would like to morph between a map, which is obtained from single particle analysis and has the right contour level of 0.2 - and a second map, which is obtained from tomography and has the right contour level of 2.2, it gives weird result. Other question: does somebody consider to make chimera able to read Imagic files? Thanks for the help! Hi Gabor, The Morph Map option "Multiplier for second map <X>" is intended to solve the problem where the two maps have data values with differing normalization. It multiplies the values of the second map by the factor <X> before interpolating the two maps. So if your first map contour level of 0.2 (single particle) corresponds to your second map (tomogram) contour level of 2.2 you can use the factor 0.091 (= 0.2 / 2.2). http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/experimental/morph_map/morphmap.html Tom
