determine angle of rotation among two states

Dear All, How can I determine the angle of rotation between 2 states of an atomic model, with one state being somewhat skewed from the other. Stay safe & Regards Anindito Sen. Dear Andy, If the two copies of the atomic model were opened from the same file (original position same as each other), you can use Chimera's "measure rotation" command. For example, if the atomic models are #2 and #4: measure rotation #2 #4 ...and then look in the Reply Log (in Favorites menu) for the measurement. <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/UsersGuide/midas/measure.html#rotation> ChimeraX has a similar command, for example: measure rotation #2 to #4 <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/measure.html#rotation> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
