I used to run APBS from within Chimera. But recently, the webservers that are called for the APBS calculations are not working. Do I need to go to the APBS website directly or what is the solution? Hi Ursula, I tried just now in Chimera 1.11 and did not have any problem running both the PDB2PQR and APBS web services at NBCR (the default location). My only idea is to make sure you are not running some super-old version of Chimera that might be using an old URL for that service. When you have problems you should always say what version you are using (or use Help… Report a Bug which would automatically include this information). My Reply Log in Chimera 1.11 reports using: Opal service URL: http://nbcr-222.ucsd.edu/opal2/services/apbs_1.3 I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
