Help: Suitable graphic driver
Hi,
I am Nadia, I am a newbie for Chimera UCSF. When I started using Chimera, fetch under uniprot search, the message popped up.

I really need you help regarding this. Is it the issue of graphic card? Could you suggest what is the suitable driver for me to buy. I do have this kind of problem with other software that requires me to have the driver.

The graphics driver message indicates that you have not installed the appropriate (free) graphics driver for your computer. If you run the dxdiag program, you will see what kind of graphics you have on the Display tab. That will tell you which company's web site you need to go to for a graphics driver. The most common are:
* Intel: downloadcenter.intel.com * AMD: www.amd.com/en/support * NVIDIA: www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
