"Cartoon" command unrecognized

Dear Chimera support, I am trying to display a protein as tubes, using the “cartoon” command. I am following some of the instructions here: https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/cartoon.html#style However, I get “unrecognized command” when I enter “cartoon” on the command line. Could this be a version issue? My Chimera version is 1.15 (build 42258) 2020-12-18. Best, Dmitry

Hi Dmitry, Chimera and ChimeraX are two different programs -- you are looking at the ChimeraX documentation! Chimera website <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/index.html> ChimeraX website <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/index.html> Both websites have "Download" in their quick links on the left side of the home page. If you want curved tube helices, you have to use ChimeraX: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/features.html#tubes> Also, there is a separate mailing list chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu if you want to ask questions specifically about ChimeraX.
