Hello, I'm currently attempting to model some viral capsid proteins using your software. Unfortunately, when I attempt to use the "side view" option I get a video card error, and I'm told to update my video card drivers. I've contacted the manufacturer and they have told me my laptop, a Gateway MT6821, is up to date with all the latest drivers. What else could be a possible problem do you think? I look forward to any input, Sincerely, Devon C Devon M Cayer Graduate Student The Scripps Research Institute Ghadiri Lab devcayer@scripps.edu

I've only seen this error on computers with Intel graphics. You need to go to <http://downloadcenter.intel.com/> and use the Graphics menu item on the lefthand side to pick the type of graphics you have. In your case, the Gateway MT6821 has the Intel 945GM, so the link would be <http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2301&lang=eng>. The lastest version of the driver for Windows XP is 14.32.4.4926 and was released on 2/15/2008. And there is an even newer version for Windows Vista. While the version from Gateway is 7.14.10.1147 from 4/24/2007. Greg Couch UCSF Computer Graphics Lab
